Summary
Floristic notes for the Sorrentinean Peninsula and noteworthy species for Campania region - An inventory of some new or rare species for Campanian region is presented. 
The most interesting data are related to Sorrento Peninsula, the Massif Matese and various locations in Campania. The discovery of new and interesting species from a floristic and

biogeographical point of view (Asplenium obovatum Viv., Cymbalaria glutinosa Bigazzi et Raffaelli sl, Quercus dalechampiiTen.), together with the identification of new stations of
rare species as Lonicera
stabiana Pasquale and Carex grioletii Roem. underline the great role and hence the importance that bear the limestone rocks in creating unique habitats.
Moreover, it has been pointed out the occurrence of Athamanta ramosissima Port., Dactylorhiza sambucina (L.) Soó, Orchis provincialis Balbis ex Lam. et DC., Persicaria maculosa (L.) Gray,
which were observed in the past century don’t found in more recent explorations of the site.
