Summary
SUMMARY
To date, few publications have been solely devoted to the Singapore odonate fauna. This
publication attempts to fill this gap and encourage in-depth studies into this remarkable fauna. To
date, including 11 new records presented here, 117 species of odonates are known from Singapore.
An annotated checklist of the Odonata specimens held in the Raffles Museum of Biodiversity
Research, National University of Singapore, is presented. Historical records from museum
collections are also discussed.
